What is ILHAF
What is ILHAF
The Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund (ILHAF) is a federally funded program that assists homeowners who are at risk of default, foreclosure, or displacement as result of a financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The application portal has been extended indefinitely.
But do not delay, the portal is open and accepting applications from homeowners, however, a required counseling session must be scheduled, and funds may be depleted before the need is met.
The Journey Forward can help you determine if you are eligible and will assist you with the application process.
