Framework & The Closing Process
When the time and circumstances are right for you, The Journey Forward offers a self-paced affordable online homeownership educational course. To ensure that you are educated and prepared to make your best decision, we have partnered with FRAMEWORK, A a HUD approved course that meets HUD and National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education. FRAMEWORK can be taken at any time, at your own pace.
When the time and circumstances are right for you, The Journey Forward offers a self-paced affordable online homeownership educational course. To ensure that you are educated and prepared to make your best decision, we have partnered with FRAMEWORK, A a HUD approved course that meets HUD and National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education. The registration fee for FRAMEWORK is $75 and covers all materials, workshops and one-on-one counseling required to receive your Homebuyer Education Certificate. Many lenders require the Homebuyer Certificate for down payment assistance programs.
The Closing Process – Making Dreams Come True
To complete your First Time Homebuyer requirements, The Journey Forward offers a personalized 2 1/2-hour interactive informational session with industry experts. The Closing Process – Making Dreams Come True gives you the unique opportunity to ask questions and hear from professionals in real estate law, homeowners’ insurance, home inspection, realtors, mortgage lending and learn about first time homebuyer’s down payment assistance programs. This 2 1/2-hour Information Session is offered on the third Tuesday of every month, beginning at 6:00pm. You may register for The Closing Process – Making Dreams Come True anytime after you begin the Framework course.
NOTE: Participation in this session is required to receive your Homebuyer Education Certificate, and to receive one-on-one counseling, also required by many lenders.
